Pearl Care

Pearls are delicate organic gems that require gentle care to preserve their natural beauty and luster. Please follow the care instructions below to ensure your pearl jewelry stays radiant for years to come.

1. Clean Gently After Use
After wearing, gently wipe your pearls with a soft, dry cloth to remove any body oils, sweat, or residue. This helps maintain their shine and surface quality.

2. Avoid Water Exposure
Do not wear pearl jewelry while bathing, swimming, or doing household chores involving water. Moisture can damage the silk thread or adhesive used in pearl settings.

3. Keep Away from Chemicals
Avoid contact with acidic substances, cosmetics, hairspray, perfume, and cleaning agents. These can erode the pearl surface or dull their luster.

4. Prevent Scratches
Pearls are softer than most gemstones and are easily scratched. Do not store them with metal jewelry or hard stones.

5. Store Properly
Wrap your pearls in a soft cloth or place them in a padded jewelry box. Store separately from other jewelry to avoid friction or abrasion.

6. Occasional Restringing
For pearl necklaces or bracelets strung with silk, we recommend restringing every 1–2 years depending on frequency of use.

By following these simple tips, you can enjoy your pearls in pristine condition for generations.
